2 years and 1 year

So this week has been eventful. Yesterday was Felicia's and mine 2 year anniversary. 2 days ago was the 1 year anniversary of the first video I put out for Poison For My Mind Productions. Here's the video Me and Dallas made for it:

Junk food and jobs...

So last night me, my room, and his girlfriend went on a junk food binge... Ugh I remember why I quit doing that... My stomach still hurts. We had pizza, Skittles, Sobe, Mt. Dew, and all that kind of junk. I played Fallout: New Vegas the whole time (which is an awesome game you should go get), and they sword fought with my nerf sword and wooden sword. Ah good times.... *BARF* ugh sorry dang sugar...

 Ok so on to topic numbah too. Felicia had a talk with me about me not trying very hard to get a job. I have good reasoning though. I don't wanna have a job when I'm moving back to Boise in two months. Then she brought the point of money and I realized that I really need to get one. Well wish me luck!

A year of film... Almost.

Yup that be it. My editing skills and skills as a film maker have improved quite a bit now. I've got an awesome group of friends that are always willing to help. Right now I've been focusing on college more then film. I will hopefully make one soon as I have a lot of ideas. Well that's all for now guys. See ya!

So this is why I hate people on the net...

So I hate people on the internet. I've talked to way to many jerks on the internet that just wanna say mean things. Why you may ask? Because it's human nature apparently to be an ass on the internet when no one knows who you are. Like I had a guy call my friends fat in one of my video's when I posted on the Escapist. I went off on the jerk. I think i might just do a video rant about this one. That's how much I hate people on the net. They can kiss my anus for all I care...

So how the hell did that happen?

So last night I came back from my girlfriends room to find my room mate screaming at his laptop. He couldn't get it to start. He shut it off because it froze and now it wouldn't work. So after trying to get it to work and to no avail we put in the OS repair disk. It scans the hard drive and comes up with the list of OS's on his computer. Well there was nothing on the list. the OS was gone! It freakin wiped itself! Then we tried to  recover the OS with the reinstall disk. Nothing. Didn't work at all. The bloody hard drive fried itself. How the bloody hell did that even happen? Some how him shutting off the frozen laptop made it fry the hard drive. Wow... Just wow...

A Little About Me...

Hey Guys. So I started this blog but I'm sure with the exception of my friends, no one really knows who I am. Well this is the part where I tell you about me. My name is James K. Thorusen. So far I've had the nick names of Jimmie, Jay, and Night, which is a stupid one I made for myself. I'm from Idaho. I currently live in Pocatello, Idaho. I go to school here at Idaho State University. I'm majoring in Mass Communications, with an emphasis in Film Production. I'm going to a new Uni next year since this one doesn't have what I wanna do. I one day hope to be a big film director or have my own film studio and make T.V. shows or do commissions for random stuff. Oh and I will do commissions too if you ask. I'm also an artist so I'll draw ya something too. I'm a music fanatic. I listen to a lot of types of music but my favorite types are Rock, Ska, Techno, and Trance. I would have to say my favorite band is Broken Bells. Awesome band too. Look um up if you get the chance. Runner up would either be Avenged Sevenfold or My Chemical Romance. Third would be Streetlight Manifesto. Anyway... I make films with my friends and I have tons of ideas but I don't always have the equipment to do what I want. I have a pretty basic camera. A Sony Handy cam. I use my friends as actors and while I try to make scripted videos they somehow get dragged into a random mess. Always fun to make but doesn't produce the best results. My biggest inspirations for film making are Tomska, Bing, Rooster Teeth, and Edger Wright. I love film and will probably review some on here as well. Well now you know about me and if you have any questions just go ahead and post them in the comments. =)

Restaurant Review: Wingers

Alright so here is my first review woo! And a restaurant one at that! Ok so here we go:

Ok so today my girlfriend, Felicia, and I went to Wingers for the second time. I really enjoyed the first time I went so I thought why not go again. Both me and her got their "Sticky Finger Lunch." I got a 4 piece she got a 2. Now if you don't know what those are they are chicken strips covered in a stick sauce not unlike orange chicken sauce. It didn't have a lot of flavor to it but wasn't too bad. Had a small spicy kick to it but not enough to really do anything. Service was great and our server was very nice. I like the atmosphere in there as well. Kind of a sporty feel to it. They had several T.V's in there all playing sports. They bring out popcorn as a free appetizer too. I thought drinks were a bit expensive though. It was I think $2.19 for an Iced Tea.
Over all I would give Wingers a:

That's a 4/5 stars if you hadn't figured it out yet. I think the initial bill came to $19.20. Not to bad on price. Not the cheapest, but you do get what you pay for.
